Music fans will no longer be able to light up in a smoking tent at festivals like the Big Day Out.
In the past, under age kids attending music festivals were exposed to tobacco sold from cars, trailers and tents.
But Anne Jones from anti-smoking group ASH says parents can now be assured their children can't be sucked in at these events.
“They would prefer to know that while they’re there, there’s not going to be tobacco industry tents attracting young people with good music, DJs and models selling tobacco products.”
