Nearly a year after losing his wife Belinda Emmett to breast cancer, TV star Rove McManus has fallen in love with former Blue Heelers actress Tasma Walton.

McManus has been dating Walton for about six weeks, and last week she was spotted moving into Rove’s million dollar Melbourne home.

Sources say Belinda had encouraged Rove to find love again and move on with his life.

Manager and close friend Kevin Whyte told News Limited the television host had become involved in a relationship with the former Blue Heelers and Little Oberon star.

"It's early days and we hope people will give them the space they need," Mr Whyte said

For more on Rove’s new found love, the latest issue of New Idea goes on sale October 29.
