Sydney radio’s Alan Jones has recorded one of his highest ever ratings results, keeping 2GB on top in the country’s most competitive radio market.
The first ratings survey of the year was much anticipated with major changes in the talk-radio market and new breakfast shows on three music stations.

ABC – 10.3 (up 0.9)
2DAY – 10.3 (down 0.3)
NOVA – 8.8 (up 0.4)
2WS – 7.2 (up 0.5)
2MMM – 6.6 (up 1)
MIX – 6.5 (down 1.5)
2UE – 5.6 (down 1.7)
2CH – 5.4 (down 1.7)
2JJJ – 4.3 (unchanged)
VEGA – 4.0 (unchanged)
Breakfast : Alan Jones 2GB – 19.1 (up 5)
Mornings : Ray Hadley 2GB – 17.8 (up 2.9)
Afternoon : 2DAY FM – 11.0 (up 1.9)
Drivetime : Richard Glover ABC – 13.6 (up 3.2)
