Powderfinger fans set to get intimate

27/03/2008 9:00:00 AM.  |

Powderfinger have announced a new intimate and interactive national tour that will give their fans the 'ultimate concert experience'.

Returning to theatre venues for the first time in eight years, the ARIA Award-winning Brisbane band will perform two hit-filled sets an acoustic set and a rock set separated by an intermission.

The Upstairs at the Downstairs Tour will also give ticket buyers the opportunity to help choose the band's set list by voting for their favourite Powderfinger songs online.

The tour will take in the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in June, supported by Victorian singer Whitley.

Tickets for all shows go on sale on at 9am Friday April 11.
