Shark attack: Teenager killed on NSW north coast

8/04/2008 8:50:00 AM.  | LIVENEWS.com.au

A 16-year-old boy has died after being bitten on the leg by a shark at North Wall beach, Ballina.

He made it out of the water with serious leg injuries, but paramedics say he was dead when they arrived.

It's not known at this stage if the boy was swimming or surfing when he was attacked - or if he was a local.

More to come...
