Victoria Beckham turns 34, Cruises absent from festivities

Victoria Beckham celebrated her 34th birthday with her husband David and her new Hollywood friends on Wednesday night (16.04.08).

The Spice Girls star was accompanied by Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman as they dined at Eva's Mexican restaurant Beso, a day before her birthday (17.04.08).

Wearing a short, royal-blue, high-neck dress, Victoria looked happy as she giggled with Kate as David drove them to the venue.

David and Victoria's close friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were notably absent from the festivities.

It was recently reported Tom was unhappy that Victoria was having too big an influence on Katie's life.

A source close to the couple said: "Katie sees Victoria as a role model. She copies Victoria's look and even cuts her hair the same way. Katie has even started eating the same foods, like seaweed shakes, frozen grapes and edamame beans."
