Could it be wedding bells for Elle?

27/04/2008 7:00:00 PM.  |
Supermodel Elle Macpherson has been spotted wearing what appears to be an engagement ring.

The 45-year-old Australian-born businesswoman was photographed with a sparkling jewel-encrusted ring on her finger at the wedding of her former lover, art dealer Tim Jefferies, in England.

A spokesman for Macpherson told The Sunday Telegraph there was "no news to report at this time".

Macpherson has been married once before, to photographer Gilles Bensimon in the 1980s.

She was also engaged for several years to French financier Arpad Busson, with whom she had two sons, but they ended their relationship three years ago.

Macpherson has been linked with several men recently, including rock star Bryan Adams, property developer John Hitchcox and 21-year-old Vito Schnabel, son of film director Julian.

For people who aren't religious there is no reason to get married. It only secures the inheritance rights of your children and helps to allow suitable weight in case of a break up. The experience of most couples seem to favor those who are religious, imho
