A second person has been named as the driver of a runabout, which slammed into a fishing trawler in Sydney Harbour last week.
Detectives investigating the accident, will compare forensic evidence and statements after witnesses named cocktail barman Percy Small as the man at the helm of the 23 foot runabout, which crashed into a fishing trawler near Bradley`s Head, leaving six people dead and eight others injured .
Fellow survivor Mathew Renoylds was originally named as the driver, but it’s now thought Mr Small took the wheel shortly after the boat left Balmain Wharf.
Mr Renoylds has been in Royal North Shore hospital since the accident, and is yet to be formally interviewed by police, Mr Small is also yet to give full details.
