A truck driver has described a terrifying rock attack on the F3 freeway at the weekend, in which up to five vehicles were damaged.

The attacks allegedly happened near the Link Road overpass in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Four teenagers were taken in for questioning but have since been released.

No one was hurt, but one of the victims, ‘Barry’, has told 2GB’s Ray Hadley it could have been much worse.

“Something huge hit the windscreen and shattered me with glass,” he said.

“I was lucky it was safety glass, it was just the little shards come in on my face and arms and legs and the rest of the screen went just like a cobweb.”

So much for "stricter punishments for offenders" Kids need to start being held accountable for their actions otherwise they think they can get a way with it and will just keep getting worse and worse. You can't blame the parents or schools anymore you need to hold the kids accountable, teach them their actions have consequences.

Name them that's the only way and impose stricter sentences - the lawyers are weak as and so is the govt of the day bowing down to do-gooders, the reason why you have these socio-economic problems in the first place - the govt what you all to be dependant on them - they should be accountable to the taxpayers in this country and no one else! otherwise it is becoming more and more a dictatorship! This is scandalous!

Kids need to know they won't get away with it. There needs to be surveillance.
