Presenting Queensland's secret State of Origin weapon - Michael Crocker, rugby league's all-time greatest serial winner.
Much has been made of Crocker's impeccable record for the Melbourne Storm - an astonishing 28 wins out of 28 - but few realise the 27-year-old back-rower is on possibly the longest winning streak in a century of rugby league.
A two-time premiership winner - with the Sydney Roosters in 2003 and Melbourne in 2007 - Crocker hasn't lost a single match for club, state or country in almost three years.
His most recent defeat came in round 24 back in 2005 playing for the Roosters.
And even that was a late and narrow 17-16 loss to South Sydney some 1005 days ago.
In addition to showing a Midas touch for the Storm, Crocker's 32-game winning streak also includes victories in his final two appearances at the Roosters plus two most recent Tests for Australia - last year's 58-0 win over New Zealand and the 28-12 Centenary Test triumph also over the Kiwis.
Crocker's dominance is believed to be unrivalled in the 100-history of the so-called "greatest game of all", with even stats guru David Middleton unable to nominate another player able to boast such a remarkable run.
Even when the champion St George side won an Australian sporting record 11 straight premierships between 1956-66, they could not manage to complete back-to-back seasons undefeated.
Seven teams in league history have gone through a year undefeated, Balmain the first in 1915 and St George the most recent in 1959.
But back then, the seasons - with 10-12 team competitions - were considerably shorter than nowadays.
Eastern Suburbs hold the record for most consecutive wins by a club with 19 in 1975, but there's no record kept for a player's winning streak.
Middleton, the code's leading historian when it comes to cold, hard facts and figures, was left scratching his head when asked to come up with a more dominant performer than Crocker.
"Crocker's record of 32 consecutive victories may well be an all-time record," said Middleton.
"It is, of course, a difficult thing to run down but I have checked the records of St George players in 1959 and none of them had a winning run to compare with Crocker's.
"It is possible that an Easts player of the 1930s put together a long winning run (Easts were undefeated in 1935-36-37) but many of their leading players experienced defeats at Test or interstate level.
"It is a bit of a needle in a haystack job to find someone who has sidestepped defeat for so long."
Further underlining Crocker's importance to Melbourne is the fact the Storm's strike rate without their influential utility forward drops to 68 per cent - 24 wins from 35 matches.
Melbourne appeared shoo-ins to win the title in Crocker's maiden season with the club in 2006 before their star signing suffered a knee injury in the preliminary final victory over St George Illawarra and was forced to sit out the Storm's grand final loss to Brisbane.
Having reigned for club and country, Origin remains Crocker's last frontier.
Winning rugby league's most demanding series is the only success Crocker is yet to taste.
The Sydney-born forward has won just two Origin matches in seven appearances.
"Being a passionate Queenslander it's definitely something I'd like to achieve," said Crocker, a member of losing Queensland teams in 2003-05.
"Origin has been a bit disappointing for me in that I've never won a series.
"It's definitely something I'd like to do before I finish playing."
