Bus drivers have expressed concern at the number of cyclists using the bus-only T-way in northwestern Sydney.
They say the cyclists are aggressive, and the drivers are concerned there'll be an accident.
Darcy Waller from the Transport Workers’ Union says the abuse is a very serious matter.
“There’s a lot of verbal abuse, there’s been some buses kicked by some of these cyclists, and threats made to the drivers.”
“There was a bottle that was thrown through an open top window of a bus which shattered on board when there were passengers on board the bus.”
Mr Waller said intoxicated passengers are a problem.
“There’s been drunken passengers getting on and victimising other passengers and abusing drivers.”
“They’ve just about had enough of it.”
