Hillary Clinton says she's not thinking about becoming vice president in a Barack Obama administration, and she's warned her supporters against casting a protest vote for the Republicans.
The New York senator has made the comment on her first visit to the US Congress since conceding the hard-fought Democrat nominating race to Obama earlier this month.
As Clinton returned to political life, her husband, former president Bill Clinton has expressed his support for Obama.
He released a one sentence statement through his spokesman Matt McKenna.
"President Clinton is obviously committed to doing whatever he can and is asked to do to ensure Senator Obama is the next president of the United States," McKenna said.
Clinton and Obama are to hold their first joint campaign rally for the November election on Friday, in the New Hampshire town of Unity.
