Gibb: The Bee Gees could return

25/06/2008 1:10:00 PM.  | Jesse Perez

Bee Gee Robin Gibb said there is a good chance he and brother Barry will return to the stage, five years after brother and drummer Maurice died of intestinal complications.

Gibb told the BBC he is "very open" to a comeback if brother Barry is "comfortable with it".

After the death of their brother Robin and Barry decided not to continue using the Bee Gees name.

"We decided that on an emotional level at that point," Robin Gibb said.

"Whether or not that will change, we don't know. It's a personal thing and we'll do it when the time is right."

"So it's not a no, it's just emotionally when it's right."

Robin Gibb is currently working on a solo album and Barry Gibb is about to release a country album, releasing the song Drown On The River to Itunes.
