British bully boy band Oasis have revealed the title of their long awaited seventh studio album.
"Dig Out Your Soul" will be released on October 6th, and will be the first album for the band since 2005's "Don't Believe The Truth".
The album will be introduced by their first single off the album, "The Shock Of The Lightning", out on September 29.
When asked about the album, singer Noel Gallagher said: "I wanted to write music that had a groove.
"I wanted a sound that was more hypnotic; more driving. Songs that would draw you in, in a different way. Songs that you would maybe have to connect to - to feel," Gallagher told the BBC
"If 'The Shock Of The Lightning' sounds instant and compelling to you, it's because it was written dead fast. And recorded dead fast."
The album was recorded in London's Abbey Road studios with producer Dave Sardy.
