Big Brother “old fart” Terrance Hardy has revealed his family was “traumatised” by comments made by panellists on Big Brother adults only program Big Mouth.
The recently evicted 51-year-old, who copped a serve of Rebecca Wilson’s disdain on last night’s show in person, says the bombastic host was already in his wife’s bad books after comments she made over past weeks.
“My wife said when I saw her on Saturday... Rebecca is off her Christmas card list,” he told LIVENEWS.com.au.
“My family was so traumatised by Chrissie and Rebecca’s conversations about me that Judy refused herself to watch it again or let my boys watch, but has recorded it but has still not watched it.”
The auctioneer was criticised on the show for showering naked while surrounded by girls in their twenties. But an unrepentant Hardy says he has no regrets about his decision to bath sans undies.
“Look quite frankly, Tim, the people that were in there couldn’t have cared less,” said Hardy.
“Brigitte’s father reckons I was in there ogling over the girls in the show and I just said to him ‘they had clothes on you idiot’.”
On last night’s edition of Big Mouth Hardy was taken to task by fellow housemate Brigitte’s father Albert for comments he made blaming Brigitte’s poor behaviour on her parenting.
Brigitte, who is enormously popular with young people, has received criticism for her selfish, sulking and sometimes rude behaviour.
The internet went wild with commentary after last night’s edition of Big Mouth with viewers unhappy at the ferocity of Wilson’s attack on Hardy.
“That blind side attack was sickening, disgraceful behaviour from Rebecca … sure Terrance creeped me out a little but at the end of the day I don't believe he set out to harm or offend anyone,” said Janet on fan-site OHBROTHER.com.au.
“I too am devastated by Rebecca Wilson's terrible attack on last night's show. I have no problem with her disliking the guy, but her performance couldn't be further from being 'balanced',” said Greg on the same site.
And things weren’t much different over at the official Big Brother site’s forum page.
“Im just watching the show now and when Terrance was getting interviewed I thought she was so obnoxious and rude,” said honeybunch68.
