Women in Japan will soon be able have a beauty consultation at home, with Nintendo DS offering specialised make-up tips.
Sega has collaborated with cosmetics giant Shiseido to create Project Beauty, which uses a scanning device to send digital images of the users face into the DS.
The user’s facial features are analysed, and a make-up scheme appropriate for their face is shown on the screen.
A variety of make-up tips are available for different occasions, varying from business, to dating, to formal events.
Basic skills are available, so users can learn how to apply make-up correctly.
An entire make-up palette is presented so you can give yourself your own make-over.
The software will be available from November 27 and costs Y6,090 ($A61).
