Australian Adam Scott is going from bad to worse late in the opening round at the US PGA Championship in Detroit.
Scott is struggling at seven over after 14 holes at Oakland Hills, in danger of completely shooting himself out of the tournament.
Rod Pampling is the best Australian at even-par 70, two strokes behind clubhouse leaders Jeev Milka Singh of India and Robert Karlsson of Sweden, while American J.B. Holmes is also two under after 14 holes.
