‘Anchorman’ star Christina Applegate has been given a clean bill of health after receiving treatment for breast cancer.
The 36-year-old had been given the scare earlier this month, and took immediate action to fight the scourge.
"I was just shaking and - and then also immediately, I had to go into take-care-of-business-mode, which was, I asked them, 'What do I do now? What - what is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?"' she said.
But her swift action held her in good stead, and she stated today that she is now free from the disease.
"I'm clear, absolutely 100 per cent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer." the actor told Good Morning America in an interview.
Applegate, whose mother also battled breast cancer, said she has been receiving mammograms since the age of thirty – and that her early detection was vital to her clean bill of health.
