Ukrainian striker Andrei Shevchenko is set to return to AC Milan, the club where he became known as one of the world’s deadliest strikers, after two miserable years at Chelsea.
Shevchenko, who moved to the London giants in 2006 for 30 million pounds, is reportedly set to move back to Milan this season on a free loan.
The 31-year-old has failed to hold down a regular spot in Chelsea’s first team ahead of the likes of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka after suffering a series of injuries.
He scored just nine times for Chelsea in the English Premier League after scoring 173 goals during his time at Milan.
