Spanair crash could have been avoided: Spanish Government

The Spanish plane crash tragedy could have been avoided but officials decided not to move passengers to another plane.

The Spanish government has revealed Spanair considered transferring passengers after detecting a fault in the plane that crashed but made the tragic decision to continue with the flight.

154 of the 172 people on board were killed.
