It was battle of the egos at the GQ Men Of The Year awards when singers Lily Allen and Elton John had an on-stage spat over substance abuse.
The two began arguing onstage at the ceremony after Allen got a little too friendly with a bottle of champagne.
After Allen repeatedly poured herself a glass of champers from behind the lectern, then went on to slur her speech and let the profanities fly, the Yellow Brick Road singer had had enough.
"And now, the most important part of the night...," Allen started. "What? Are you going to have another drink?" John piped in.
"F--- off, Elton," she said. "I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!"
"I could still snort you under the table," he quipped.
"F--- off," Allen responded. "I don't know what you are talking about."
Allen went on to enjoy the evening a little bit too much – needing assistance to get to her car by her bodyguard at the end of the night.
