More injury woes for Wallabies

16/10/2008 1:48:00 PM.  | AAP
The Wallabies have suffered more injury concerns, with versatile forwards Hugh McMeminan and Peter Kimlin ruled out of Saturday week's Bledisloe Cup clash with the All Blacks in Hong Kong.

Both players are also likely to miss the opening Test of the European Spring Tour against Italy after McMeminan rolled his ankle at training and Kimlin strained his quad.

Their absence further stretches the Wallabies' forward depth, with key second-rowers Dan Vickerman and James Horwill and flanker Rocky Elsom already unavailable for the six-match tour.

In addition, winger Lote Tuqiri, halfback Luke Burgess and back-rower Wycliff Palu have yet to prove their fitness ahead of the tour following stints on the sidelines.
