PM puts $11bn on the table for State health and education

29/11/2008 3:30:00 PM.  | Victoria Owens
Education and hospitals are expected to be the big draw cards for funding when Prime Minister Kevin Rudd meets with his State counterparts today.

More than $11 billion is on the table to divide between the states with $7 billion intended for health alone.

There are concerns NSW face problems in seeking more education funding having still not spent the $57 million in Federal funding intended for school computers.

Spending up big to buy expensive items which won't appreciate in value and which aren't used to improve educational outcomes. Good work, Rudd.

Hey dik, you should learn to spell and a little bit of grammar wouldn't hurt either. I guess you're a walking advert for why schools need better teachers and more of them rather than some stupid gimmicks that will cost a billion dollars.
