Dozens of homeless teenagers will visit Parliament House today, to bring the crisis home to politicians.
22 thousand young people are being forced to sleep on the streets every night -and today they will deliver that message to Canberra first hand.
They're heading to Parliament House to launch a new documentary on the problem, and Producer Ian Darling says it's a great initiative.
“There are so many issues which all these young people are facing whether it’s drugs or alcohol or physical or sexual abuse.
“I think by having these young kids in the documentary, telling the stories it enables school students to relate to some of the stories, and to feel empowered to do something about it.
