A man who kidnapped a Nowra couple, who were later murdered, has described in a Sydney court the horrific details leading up to their death.
In January 2006 Gregory Hosa and Kathryn McKay’s bodies were found in smouldering barrels in bushland on the NSW south coast.
Kim Leanne Snibson and Stacey Lea Caton have been found guilty over their murders.
Andrew Flentjar has today told the court he agreed to help scare the couple after Snibson told him she needed to retrieve a sex tape from the pair.
Flentjar told the court when the victims were tackled to the ground, bound and gagged he panicked and demanded to go home.
Today Flentjar faces a sentencing hearing after admitting to kidnapping the couple.
The 33-year-old told the court that nobody was meant to get hurt, and said he has no excuses for what he did.
"I feel (more) awful for that poor boy than I do for anybody else and it's my actions that's caused his grief.
"I'm sorry."
