China's Sichuan province has been rocked by another powerful earthquake only hours after playing host to the Olympic torch relay.
The earthquake, measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale, struck shortly before 6pm local time (8pm AEST).
The quake comes as the Olympic torch made its way through parts of Sichuan three days ahead of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
The region is still struggling to recover from the after effects of a devastating 7.9 magnitude quake in May which killed almost 70,000 people.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries following the most recent tremor.
