A man nearly five times over the legal blood alcohol limit was among 133 people caught drink driving in a weekend police blitz in Brisbane.
Police say the 38-year-old returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.243, after he was one of 6,415 drivers pulled over during Operation Stopper.
The intensive campaign targeted drink-driving, drug-driving, speeding and other traffic offences on Brisbane's south-bound arterial roads, between 1am and 6am (AEST) on Saturday and Sunday.
The roadside drug testing unit was used in the operation, testing for cannabis, speed, ice and ecstasy.
Acting Inspector Lindsay Kilpatrick said he was disappointed at the number of drivers nabbed.
"One hundred and thirty three drink-drivers caught over a two-day period is not very good at all," Acting Insp Kilpatrick told ABC Radio on Sunday.
Queensland's road toll reached 200 on Friday, with the death of a motorcyclist at Bakers Creek, near Mackay.
