Fullback Brett Kearney has replaced troubled star Greg Bird in the Sharks lineup for Friday's clash against the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.
Kearney assumes his regular position of fullback after recovering from a hip injury, with Brett Seymour reverting to his customary five-eighth role.
Bird is expected to be absent for the remainder of the season after being charged with assaulting his girlfriend.
As expected Ricky Stuart has moved Paul Gallen to lock in the absence of Bird, with Adam Peek promoted into the starting line-up.
Penrith has not named international backrower Frank Pritchard for their crunch game against the New Zealand Warriors on Sunday.
Pritchard caused a major stir during last night's 40-6 loss to the Storm at CUA Stadium, with the Kiwi star accused of feigning a shoulder injury in order to stay off the field amid speculation he is keen to quit the club and take up a lucrative offer in the English Super League.
Panthers coach Matthew Elliott staunchly defended the allegations and said today the omission was injury-based with the problem potentially keeping Pritchard out for the season.
"He's had an MRI on it today, so they're just assessing if he'll need surgery immediately or if we can nurse it through another week or two," Elliott said.
"Just after the contact on the weekend we need to determine whether it needs surgery straight away."
Elliott also recalled utility Jarrod Sammut onto the bench and said he could start with centre Brad Tighe in doubt for the match.
The Warriors welcome back backrower Micheal Luck for the clash.
Tigers coach Tim Sheens promised massive changes following his side's meek capitulation to Manly last Saturday, and the multiple premiership-winning mentor proved true to his word.
Robbie Farah reverts back to his preferred position of hooker, rookie Tim Moltzen comes in for the injured Dean Collis (knee), and dreadlocked sensation Daine Laurie comes into the starting side for Liam Fulton who's been demoted to the bench.
Corey Payne comes onto the bench for Tevita Metuisela who's been dumped, and Alan Schirnack comes onto a five-man bench.
Matt Hilder will replace Danny Buderus at hooker in Saturday night's match against an unchanged Melbourne after the veteran No.9's NRL career came to a premature end due to a biceps injury.
The Knights have temporarily 'retired' the number nine jersey in honour of departing skipper Danny Buderus, with Hilder to wear jersey number 14.
In addition to Hilder, Steve Simpson and Mark Taufua come in for the Knights
Manly coach Des Hasler named Anthony Watmough at five-eighth for Monday night's clash with the Gold Coast, with veteran Steve Menzies shifted to the backrow.
Aiden Tolman returns to the Melbourne bench after missing out last week.
Depleted Canberra have been forced to name veteran backrower Alan Tongue at halfback for Saturday's NRL match against North Queensland due to their mounting injury toll.
Raiders skipper Tongue will partner Terry Campese in the halves after halfback Marc Herbert suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday's win over South Sydney.
The Raiders are battling a personnel crisis with a season-ending injury to prop Troy Thompson against the Rabbitohs also reducing their first-grade squad to just 17 available players.
Coach Neil Henry has drafted in several youngsters for the match at Dairy Farmers Stadium including Cy Lasscock and Ben Jones.
The Cowboys have demoted Steve Southern to the bench and moved Ben Harris into the second row.
Roosters coach Brad Fittler is another to make several changes as he looks to snap the tri-colours out of their late-season slump.
Fittler has dropped Lopini Paea, Iosia Soliola and David Shillington from his starting lineup, with Setaimata Sa, Anthony Topou and Nate Myles coming into the starting side.
The Gold Coast have moved Ben Jeffrey into fullback to replace the injured Preston Campbell (broken jaw) for Monday's clash with the Dragons.
For the Dragons, Beau Scott returns from an elbow injury.
