West Australian Premier Alan Carpenter has ordered an ALP website be shut down, that details the indiscretions of former opposition leader Troy Buswell, including his chair-sniffing antics.
The opposition's attacked what it says is Labor's foray into dirty politics, nine days before the state goes to the polls on September 6.
The Truth About Troy website was authorised by ALP state secretary Bill Johnston, and carried illustrated reports of the notorious chair sniffing and bra snapping antics involving Mr Buswell.
This morning Mr Carpenter said he knew there was a website but hadn't seen it.
But the premier later released a statement saying he's directed Mr Johnston to remove the website, as he doesn't want to spend a single day of the election campaign talking about Mr Buswell, who's now the opposition treasury spokesman.
