17-year-old Melbourne schoolgirl Brooke Addamo was punted from Australian Idol last night prompting a tearful outburst from the teenager.
The gorgeous Addamo was visibly shaken when it was announced she would leave the show and tears began to well in her eyes.
“Last night I was a bit tearful but this morning I’m feeling better,” she told LIVENEWS.com.au.
But the Elton John fan held it together to perform for the last time on the Australian Idol stage.
“I think I was just disappointed but I had fun and it was a great experience and I’m just gland I didn’t leave on a sour note or anything like that,” she said.
The show featured a performance for this week’s Idol mentor the legendary songstress Cyndi Lauper. She belted out her enduring hit Time after Time.
According to online bookmaker Lasseters Sportsbook it will be country girl Sophie Paterson who next leaves the Idol stage paying $2.50 followed closely by Thanh Bul at $3.50.
As for who will take out the crown the online bookies has the long locked Wesley Carr as top of the pops paying $3.25 followed by Mark Spano at $5.00.
