A western Sydney man has been charged with sending a child explicit text messages.
The 13-year-old's father found the images on the boy's mobile phone - and at two o'clock this morning attended Macquarie Fields Police Station.
On the phone were a number of text messages and photographs of a sexual nature involving an adult male.
Police then searched a home at St Mary's arresting a 45-year-old man - inside they confiscated a mobile phone, sex toys and pornographic literature.
The man has been charged with three counts of possessing child pornography, procuring a child and aggravated indecent assault.
He'll face court next month.
