Nearly a dozen more Railcorp employees and contractors could find themselves behind bars, following an ongoing investigation into corruption.
In total, 31 people have now been found to have engaged in corrupt conduct after a lengthy investigation by ICAC into the rorting of RailCorp contracts and allowances.
In the latest report, 11 people have been identified, including former track-team leader George Laidlaw and a number of favoured contractors.
It has been found Mr Laidlaw and his team exploited their employment at RailCorp, swindling $55,000 in accommodation allowances, and selling $10,000 worth of stolen scrap metal.
He also managed to steer millions of dollars worth of work to favoured contractors.
ICAC has recommended Mr Laidlaw and ten others be referred to the DPP for possible criminal charges.
