French search and rescue divers have recovered a cockpit voice recorder from the Air New Zealand Airbus which crashed into the Mediterranean on Friday.
It's hoped the voice recorder can provide crucial evidence of the last moments of the five New Zealanders and two Germans on the A320 which plunged into the sea during a test flight.
The recorder's being sent to Paris where it'll be dried out before experts attempt to extract the data from it.
Divers hope to recover the second flight recorder today.
